For pin collectors, this is a doozy, a group lot with more than two dozen pristine, virtually as-issued press pins from the 1990s and early 2000s, each and every one boasting blazing colors and great gloss and many appearing in the original, unopened packaging. Pins are broadly 1 ¼-inch square in dimension and all have their clasps intact and working. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1992 – pair of Unocal Dodgers pins, both in original packaging, commemorating the club’s initial contest with expansion Devil Rays and the second noting the team’s Eight No-Hitters; 2) 1993 – Four more Dodgers Unocal pins, again in the original packaging, marking the club’s initial game against the expansion Marlins, Rookie of the Year winners and the 35th anniversary (two pins) of Roy Campanella Appreciation Day and the Coliseum’s largest attendance in September of 1959; 3) 1995 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix in original packaging, the 1995 Pinnacle All-Star Fanfest in Arlington, Texas and three different Rams pins from their inaugural season; 4) 1996 – three different pins from Super Bowl XXX, including one each sponsored by Collectors Edge and Playoff; 5) 1997 - Pinnacle Racing; 6) 1999 Super Bowl XXXIII Topps Card Show; 7) 2000 – Marking 20 Million Fans at Coors Field, in original packaging; 8) 2002 – “I Was There” Super Bowl XXXIV in Atlanta; 9) 2004 – pair of Verizon pins of East and West in NBA All-Star Game in original packaging; 10) Miscellaneous pins (6) – including three Pinnacle Hockey Fantasy in original packaging and pins from the New York Giants, Seattle Mariners and Pinnacle Power.
