This is a simply spectacular offering of two dozen, high-quality fine-art prints depicting a host of legendary Green Bay Packers from several eras, with a particular emphasis on Brett Favre. With a roster of primarily full-color lithographs on perhaps the most elegant, museum quality papers imaginable, the stunning, enormous pieces have the goods to outfit two-dozen man caves from Ashwaubenon to Waupaca and points in between and feature the talents of three amazing and prolific artists. Ben Teeter, Rick Rush and Mike Mellett are recognizable figures from the sports art world and beyond, each bringing an appealing and distinctive style to complement impressive resumes in the hobby and the art world. Teeter has been part of the acclaimed Donruss Diamond Kings Series, along with working with the NFL Alumni Association, while Rick Rush has produced countless works through JREH Publishing, creating popular prints from a variety of professional sports, including well-known prints and serigraphs of Tiger Woods. Mike Mellett’s striking pencil and wash work has been featured in numerous magazines, including several covers in Sports Collectors Digest over the years, and notably featured a series of remarkable pieces devoted to the great stars of Negro League Baseball. Virtually all of the pieces and cover sleeves and folders are in a remarkably pristine condition, without issues and seemingly as issued. Here’s the breakdown: 1) Brett Favre 11-by-14-inch artist proofs and prints, two separate prints, each in the original envelope with Certificates of Authenticity (COA). Five artist proofs (limited to an edition of five) are numbered as follows: White Background – 1/5, 2/5 and 4/5; Color Background – 1/5 and 2/5 …. Also eight (8) prints with the Color Background limited to an edition of 50; 2) Rick Rush, JREH Publishing, Green Bay Gun series featuring Favre,16-by-20-inch color artist proofs (2) limited to an edition of 100, hand numbered by the artist and presented in an elegant 17-by-22-inch slip cover with two-page COAs; and 3) Michael Mellett - Brett Favre 16-by-20-inch pencil and watercolor prints (3) on linen cover stock, limited to an edition of 300 and signed by the artist … also Packers Lithograph Collection of six different 16-by-20-inch pencil and wash prints on linen cover stock featuring Vince Lombardi, Curly Lambeau, Don Hutson, Bart Starr, Paul Hornung and Reggie White, limited to an edition of 1,000 signed by the artist. Each of the nine prints comes with a COA.
