This 34" Rawlings black bat was used by Fernando Valenzuela during the 1997 season, which was split between the Padres and Cardinals, and was Valenzuela's curtain call. The barrel shows medium use, with two large ball marks on the back, with a light coat of pine tar running 10" up the handle. The knob has "34-31" and "34" written in silver felt tip pen, meaning 34" long and 31 oz., along with Valenzuelas jersey number. On the end of the barrel, "WJ21" and "34" are written in silver felt tip pen, corresponding to the model number and his jersey number.
