This 33" Louisville Slugger bat was used by Bret Saberhagen during the 1994 and 1995 seasons, while he was with the Mets. It shows light use, mostly in the form of bat rack marks, along with a few stray stitch and cleat marks. The handle has a light coat of pine tar running 10" up, while the knob is blacked out out with Saberhagen's number "17" written in silver Sharpie over the black Sharpie. The end of the barrel is blacked out the same way, with another "17" in silver. Saberhagen finished 3rd in the Cy Young voting in 1994, winning 14 games with the Mets. The bat is signed by Saberhagen in black Sharpie and inscribed "My Gamer CY 85&89" and the signature is authenticated by BAS with a sticker affixed to the bat.
