Presented is a game-worn Notre Dame road jersey attributed to senior tight end John Carlson from the 1989 campaign. The jersey is white dazzle cloth shirt, shoulders and sleeves, with elasticized sleeve ends and midnight navy on gold polytwill numerals. It has no NOB and spandex side panels and underarm supports. “Adidas 44” labeling is at the tail, and “06 – 44” at the collar, with a “4-inch LB” flap tag and a Steiner hologram alongside. The shirt reveals minimal wear and a highly sheened main body.
