This is an attractive maroon mesh Boston College jersey linked to one of the greatest players in the history of the university, Doug Flutie, who signed this sample jersey in elegant fashion on the front No. 2. The home jersey is a sample (not game worn) shirt from the period and is visually stunning with the attractive Flutie signature. It has the crossover V-neck and double-ply shoulders with screened-on identifiers and the famed Champions logo straight-stitched to the left sleeve below the striping. The NOB is screened directly onto the upper jersey back without a nameplate. Size M labeling is on the tail, along with “2 inches Extra Length” flap tag. Flutie a total of 21 professional seasons, including 12 NFL seasons, eight with the Canadian Football League and one with the USFL. The 1984 Heisman winner is arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the CFL, winning three Grey Cups and six Most Outstanding Player awards in his eight seasons.
