Presented is a complete set of the popular mid-1950s regional issue that celebrated the recently installed Braves in the Midwest after their transfer from Boston in 1953. The offered set from the final year of the company’s three-year run of issuing baseball cards differed from its predecessors in being offered in six, unperforated six-card panels (20-by-4 inches). The individual 2 7/8-by-4-inch cards present as Ex-Mt or better; the header card and checklist at the end of the panels have residue from having been affixed to a page. The lineup for the unique offering includes all the great stars from the 1950s powerhouse ballclub: Aaron, Spahn, Mathews, Adcock, Logan, Burdette and Crandall, et al.
